CAPE POINT NATURE RESERVE
Sitting at the southwestern tip of Africa, the Cape Peninsula National Park encompasses the incredibly scenic Peninsula mountain chain that stretches from Signal Hill in the north to Cape Point in the south - a distance of some 60km.
This narrow finger of land with its many beautiful valleys, bays and beaches is bound by the cold waters of the Atlantic ocean in the west and the warm waters of False Bay in the east.

CASTLE OF GOOD HOPE
The Castle is the oldest building in South Africa. It was built between 1666 and 1667 and made with timber from Houtbay and stone from Robben Island.
Today it hosts the Good Hope Gallery and the Military museum. There are guided tours every hour where one can visit the torture chamber and dark dungeons. It is still possible to see the messages carved out on the doors by hopeful prisoners.
It is said that there are a number of ghosts in the castle like an unloved 18th Century governor and a mysterious "grey lady".

KIRSTENBOSCH BOTANICAL SOCIETY
Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is the jewel of the world-renowned Cape Floral Kingdom and is regarded as one of the top seven botanical gardens in the world.
Nestled against the eastern slopes of Table Mountain, the garden boasts one of the most spectacular locations for a botanical garden in an urban setting. Against the majestic backdrop of Castle Rock, an amazing 5000 species of South African plants are displayed. From the remnants of a hedge planted by Van Riebeeck in 1660 to protect the cattle for the Cape colonists to the giant baobab tree under the hi-tech roofline of the Botanical Society Conservatory, there are many interesting attractions, even for the visitor who is not a passionate plant-lover.
Guided garden tours led by volunteer guides are offered as well as mini-tours by club car for those wanting to explore the garden at a more leisurely pace. Events such as outdoor music concerts and theater performances, sculpture and art exhibitions, flower shows and craft markets are held throughout the year.
The garden is open 365 days a year from 08h00 to 19h00 (September to March) and from 08h00 to 18h00 (April to August).

The favourites are mainly Proteas, Ericas, Cycads, Pelargoniums and Ferns. There are different themed gardens like the waterwise demonstration garden, fragrance and medicinal gardens, and much more. Special provision is made for the blind on the Braille Trail and in the scented gardens.

ROBBEN ISLAND WORLD HERITAGE SITE TOUR
Leaving from the Clock Tower Precinct, the ferry trip to Robben Island takes 30 minutes. You will disembark at the Island and visit the small settlement, thereafter a visit to the Historical Prison where Nelson Mandela was held. Robben Island is a World Heritage site and home to a high diversity of protected marine bird life. The tour of the Island will take approximately 2 1/2 hours. We again board the ferry for the 30-minute return trip to the Waterfront.

SCUBA DIVING
The thrill of seeing sharks close up at Aliwal Shoal or Protea Banks and the beautiful coral reefs of Sodwana Bay, Mozambique, Zanzibar and Pemba are some of the dive experiences that are on offer. We offer world-class scuba instruction at all levels, using the best equipment available and our local knowledge ensures that you get to see the best dive sites. Choose from Aliwal Shoals, Sodwana, the Kwa-Zulu Natal Coastline, Zanzibar Island and Pemba Island.

SEAL ISLAND KAYAK
After an introduction and safety briefing, it's onto our sea kayaks to launch from the Beach at Hout Bay. Out through the small surf, we paddle in this scenic and protected bay following the beautiful Cliffside and mountains. Weather permitting; we paddle beyond the bay to Duiker Island (commonly referred to as Seal Island) to experience the Cape Fur Seals at a personal level! They are inquisitive and swim around our kayaks, being used to our frequent visits. We pull up on the rocks to admire the scenery and enjoy refreshments before continuing back to the beach.The experience takes about 3 to 4 hours, with the option of a morning or evening sunset trip.

SHARK DIVING
Plenty of deck space and shade on-board make this ideal for your experience with a Great White Shark. The fixed cage system is by far the best for focusing the sharks where you want them. You have total freedom in the cage, and 25cm semi-circular view ports afford even the most ambitious photographer plenty of room to work as the sea's magnificent predators glide slowly by.

SKYDIVING
The Citrusdal skydive club is in the picturesque valley of Citrusdal on the Modderfontein Farm, one and a half hours drive north of Cape Town. The club has been operating since 1972. South of the drop zone are the famous warm baths, to the north, the town of Citrusdal. Choose between a Tandem jump or a Static Line Progression.

TABLE MOUNTAIN AERIAL CABLEWAY
This tourist attraction is one of the world's most striking natural wonders and visited by more than 2 million tourists each year. From the East to the West the flat summit is 3 kilometers long, with the highest point at 1086 meters.
The summit can be reached by cable car within 5 minutes. Besides the breathtaking views from the top over the peninsula, the mountain has a great variety of fauna and flora. There are more than 300 walks, catering for various levels of fitness and experience.
Lion's Head, (the name was given due to its appearance) on the western side of Table Mountain, and Devils Peak on the eastern side, are popular destinations for climbers. Signal Hill extends from Lion's Head and is an excellent site from which to watch the sunset. There is also a noon gun, a naval canon that is fired every day (except Sundays) to signal midday. However, it is also in remembrance of those who died in the 2 world wars.

TWO OCEANS AQUARIUM
The Two Oceans Aquarium is a window on the ocean, offering glimpses of the diverse life found off the South African coastline. Over 3000 living animals, including fishes, invertebrates, mammals, reptiles, birds and plants can be seen in the De Beers Marine `Ocean Drifters' Exhibit to the giant spider crabs from Japan and the African penguins in the Sappi `Story of Water' Exhibit, the Aquarium is a dynamic place where the animals continually surprise, entertain, astound and teach visitors about the mysteries of their kind.
The Aquarium offers unique opportunities such as diving with the sharks or feeding the fishes in the Kelp Forest Exhibit, diving into history with the copper hat dive, sleepovers for children and facilities for conferences and functions as well as the daily feeding at 15h30 of the fishes in the I&J Predator Exhibit. Music concerts enchant audiences as they listen to accomplished musicians against the spectacular backdrop of an assortment of silvery animals gliding effortlessly in their watery domain. Don't miss the Aquarium's latest temporary exhibit, `The Living Dead - Traveled In Time, Locked In Rock' which features creatures, which have evolved over millions of years to survive to this day!

WHALE WATCHING
From June to November, the Southern Right and Humpback whales come to the warmer waters of the Cape's bays to calve and mate. There are high vantage points from which there are good views and in some areas, sightings from boats are possible. They are common along the Atlantic Seaboard and False Bay. At night one can clearly hear their calls from land.
Each year during the September holidays, some 250,000 people celebrate a ten-day Whale Festival at Hermanus. There are also artists, stand-up comics, theatre productions and musicians. Schools of up to 300 dolphins may also be spotted along the coast.
