CAPE
TOWN is one of the top
tourist destinations worldwide
and is the gateway to
Africa for many visitors
to the continent.
It was
recently named as Africa's
leading destination at
the fifth World Travel
Awards in Antigua. Cape
Town's City Bowl is comprised
of the city centre and
surrounding areas lying
north of Table Mountain
and east of Signal Hill.
Some of the various Cape Town accommodation establishments we have on offer include the following:

Cape
Town is well served by
an abundance of restaurants
and entertainment venues
offering a feast of culinary
delights. From the freshest
Sashimi, in a traditional
Japanese Sushi bar to
the Cape's own brand of
spicy Malay cuisine or
maybe you prefer a fiery
Thai dinner or a seafood
feast.
Whatever
your taste, Cape Town
has a restaurant to satisfy
your personal preference.
After dinner, you may
head for one of the numerous
nightclubs, music pubs
or wine bars or if you
prefer something more
laid back try one of the
many Jazz clubs or cabaret
shows. You could also
take in a show at one
of Cape Town's theatres
and admire the talent
that Cape Town has to
offer. There are also
many great galleries,
African curio shops and
museums in town.
St George's
Mall, a pedestrian walk
and Green Market Square,
a popular outdoor market
are both lined with shops
and restaurants where
vendors sell anything
from clothing and jewellery
to African crafts, books
and almost everything
else, and you can also
listen to the local street
musicians, giving one
the sense that this is,
indeed, the heart and
soul of Africa.
Lets
not forget one of Cape
Town's biggest attractions,
Table Mountain. Situated
south of the city centre,
it offers stunning views
over Cape Town and its
surroundings. The mountain
is more than 1000 metres
high and is home to a
variety of animal species
like the Rock Dassie,
closest biological relative
to the elephant. A vigorous
hike or cable car ride
up Table Mountain reveals
wonderful scenery. On
top of the mountain, you
can walk, shop, use telescopes,
take photos, and have
a bite to eat or watch
the sunset sipping a cocktail.
The area
is considered one of the
most beautiful in Africa,
with a cosmopolitan mix
of European, African and
Asian cultures with a
first class banking and
financial sector, a magnificent
array of restaurants and
entertainment venues able
to compete with the finest
in the world, beautiful
beaches, wine routes and
mountain scenery. Accommodation
in the city varies from
5 star hotels, through
bed and breakfast guest
houses, self catering
apartments and backpackers
lodges. It is a place
where old and new harmoniously
converge - in history,
architecture, cultural
pursuits and the essence
of its people.
