CROFT VILLA (Hout Bay)

Croft Villa has just completed a major re-furbishment with new bathrooms, new thatched roof, an elevated sun deck and new rim flow pool and extensive decking. This Villa offers fully secure, extremely comfortable self catering accommodation in Hout Bay for up to 12 guests and comprises of a beautiful thatched villa and a separate thatched cottage set in fully landscaped gardens.

The property enjoys spectacular sea and mountain views from Chapman's Peak, along the full length of Noordhoek's 7 mile beach and across to Kommetjie light villa. Only 30 minutes from Cape Town and the airport, Noordhoek is the perfect base from which to explore Cape Town, the Cape winelands, Stellenbosch and the Cape Peninsula.

Main villa - Ground Floor

The main feature of Croft Villa is its very large and comfortable lounge for entertaining. It has an open fireplace, a high vaulted thatched ceiling, large dining table to seat 12 and has access to the furnished front patio, with spectacular sea and mountain views as well as access to a rear patio covered with bougainvillea.

The large, fully equipped kitchen has an open fireplace, a central island breakfast bar with 8 bar stools, microwave, double oven and hob, and an American style double fridge with ice maker. There is an adjoining scullery with sink, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. There are two double bedrooms with sea views and access to a patio. Each has en-suite bathroom, one with bath and separate shower, the other with shower only. There is a separate closet with hand basin off the lounge

Main Villa - Upstairs

The stairs are accessed from either the lounge or the large front entrance hall. There is a reading area with sea views. There is a 'minstrel's gallery' with access to a large tv/hi fi lounge and bar, overlooking the main lounge and access to a large open thatched sun deck with 270 degree views to the ocean, Chapman's Peak and Kommetjie. There are two master double bedroom suites, each with triple aspect mountain and sea views. The en-suite bathrooms have separate bath and shower.

The Cottage

There is a fully equipped kitchen dining room with tv /hi fi and access to a veranda with spectacular sea and mountain views. There is a double bedroom with sea views and an en-suite bathroom

The Cottage - Upstairs

There is a lounge with TV / HIFI, a fridge for cool drinks, access to balcony with sea and mountain views and a double bedroom with en-suite shower room.

Outside

The 10x5 metre rim flow pool is equipped with loungers and umbrellas, enough for 12. The garden has a large flat area large enough to erect a marquee for those special events or occasions.
