Carols by Candlelight are held in Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens every year and are a wonderful way for the whole family, young and old, to get into the spirit of Christmas.
Sing traditional Christmas carols, accompanied by the Cape Town Concert Brass and the Cape Town Male Voice Choir, under the stars and in the shadow of Table Mountain.
Arrive early to secure a spot on the grassy bank, enjoy a sunset picnic, allow the kids to run around the green lawns and listen to some of the pre-carols entertainment.
Entrance fees for Carols by Candlelight include a candle and a song-sheet per person; tickets are available from Pick ‘n Pay stores.
Carols by Candlelight is part of the Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts program.
